Alek Wek
Alek Wek is regarded as one of the leading models credited with changing the perception of beauty in the fashion industry. The South Sudanese-British model has been in the industry since 1995, and one of her first gigs was starring in the music video for the song GoldenEye.
Her beauty lies in her distinctive facial features, common among the Dinka tribe of Sudan, where she was born. Wek suffered from psoriasis until she and her family moved to London. She uses simple baby oil to keep her skin soft and shiny, with Johnson & Johnson being her favorite.
