Shona McGarty

Shona McGarty is an English actress and singer of Irish descent, popularly known for portraying the character Whitney Dean in the BBC soap opera “EastEnders.” Before joining the show’s cast, McGarty was involved with amateur musical theatre productions, which helped hone her acting skills.

In 2021, she recorded a cover of the song “Let It Be” by The Beatles, together with a group of celebrities, including Georgia Hirst, Anne Hegerty, Eunice Olumide, and Ivan Kaye.
