Imelda Staunton
Like so many British drama practitioners, Imelda Staunton had a stint in serious theater before jumping to film and television. Some of her major stage plays include The Wizard of Oz, Uncle Vanya, and Good People. She also gained acclaim for her role in Vera Drake, which won her a BAFTA.
Younger audiences will recognize her for her role in the Harry Potter films, playing the antagonist Dolores Umbridge. At 65, plastic surgery is something she doesn’t ever want to undergo, according to the Daily Mail. Staunton recently got cast as Queen Elizabeth in The Crown and is also filming Downton Abbey 2.
