Eileen Derbyshire is a British actress who is widely known for playing Emily Bishop in Coronation Street. She joined the cast permanently in 1961 and has been playing the character since, making her the longest-serving female cast member in a British soap opera.
The 89-year-old Derbyshire seems to be a pretty private person, as there are very few pictures of her online. However, we know that she is the mom of sports journalist Oliver Holt and that her husband Thomas W. Holt sadly passed away in 2021 after a bout with his Alzheimer’s disease.
