Jane Merrow, 79
It’s not easy to stay active in a business as demanding as Hollywood for almost six decades, yet Jane Merrow has managed to do just that. Merrow is a well-known face in the film business, having shot to stardom after obtaining the lead role in the Lorna Doone series.
The show led the 79-year-old to a slew of other film and television roles in the UK and the US. She has even garnered a Golden Globe nomination for her outstanding performance in The Lion in Winter during the late ’60s.
