Jack Hedley, 90
Jack Hedley was born in London in 1930 under the name Jack Hawkins. To avoid any ambiguity with an eponym, he had his name altered. Hedley has been behind the screens since the ’50s and has stretched his career for over five decades.
The acclaimed actor, well-known for his television roles, played Lt. Colonel Preston in Colditz. He later played Sir Timothy Havelock in For Your Eyes Only, a 1981 James Bond film, and voiced Havelock’s parrot. Hedley’s last acting credit on his IMDb page, though, is for the 2000 St. Paul TV mini-series.
