Kate Is The First Royal Bride With A College Degree

According to the Daily Express, Kate Middleton became the first royal woman in the British monarchy with a college degree to walk down the aisle when he wed Prince William in 2011. While surprising to many, this is quite understandable considering that many royal women were schooled at home.

Middleton isn’t the only one who can boast of having a diploma, though. Many of the royals from the younger generation earned degrees, including Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice and their cousin Zara Tindall. It’s just that the Duchess of Cambridge got married before any of them.
