Jimmy Carter & Rosalynn Carter – 1946

Jimmy Carter is currently the oldest living former president, having celebrated his 96th birthday on October 1, 2020. Likewise, his wife, Rosalynn Carter, is also alive and well and is 93 herself. They have been married for 75 years, which isn’t something you get to hear a lot of these days.

Let’s rewind to the first day of their blissful wedded life. Even though images from their big day aren’t easily available, the one above will show you everything you need. On this day, Rosalynn donned a mid-length white frock with a black top and a white hat and gloves. She must’ve taken Carter’s breath away that day.
