Serendipity: Woodstock Edition
Woodstock did not just advocate for love; the festival gave birth to the romance of Judy and Jerry Griffin. While on their way to the event, Judy’s car broke down, and Jerry was at the exact spot and time to help. They went to the event together, and individual plans were wrapped into beautiful serendipity.
That first ride together grew into over 50 years of love and marriage. They have been telling people their fateful love story, yet they don’t have any physical proof. Not until the documentary “Woodstock: Three Days that Defined a Generation” dropped in 2019, and they got snapped beside a copy of their first picture together, huddled in a blanket.
