Wendy Mesley – Undisclosed

Wendy Mesley began her career with the CBC in 1980. And now, four decades later, she’s signing off to enjoy her retirement as she announced her departure from the public broadcaster in July 2021. This follows her suspension in the year prior after reportedly using what was deemed to be offensive language during editorial meetings.

A celebrated journalist, she likely earned top-dollar during the height of her career on CBC. There, she presented the Sunday morning talk show, The Weekly, and the flagship news program, The National. Mesley also brought home three Gemini Awards.
