Amy-Eloise Markovc and Jernej Markovc
The great thing about sports competitions is how it fosters great relations between different nationalities. A case in point is the relationship of British long-distance runner Amy-Eloise Markovc and her husband Jernej Markovc, who is a Slovenian rower. They’ve been married since 2017 and settled in the United States, where Amy-Eloise trains.
It looks like they’re on their way to stay there for good, as according to the former University of Washington athlete’s Instagram, they finally bought a home together in 2020. They might hold off on starting a family for now, though, while Amy-Eloise is busy making her Olympic debut in Tokyo.
