John Suchet, 77
Author, journalist, and presenter of classical music on Classic FM, John Suchet has had an illustrious career spanning several decades. As a journalist, he has worked with Reuters and covered several important events of social and political importance. After a short stint with the BBC it was with ITN that Suchet found his name and fame.
Suchet has collected many accolades for his work including an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Dundee and an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Music. In 2008 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Royal Television Society for his contributions to the media.
