Eric Idle, 78
Eric Idle cut his teeth with John Cleese and Monty Python. He even sang the Python songs like Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life and Galaxy Song from the Monty Python films Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life. He was also part of several sketches on Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
After Flying Circus, he moved to America, hosting Saturday Night Live four times in five seasons. His career faltered after two failed films. But he built his reputation by modifying Monty Python material for other mediums, including the stage play Spamalot. IT was announced that Spamalot will be turned into a movie with Idle as producer.
