Jeremy Northam, 59
Renowned for portraying Mr. Knightley in the adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma, actor Jeremy Northam had to do some leg work before he got the role. He started on stage at the Royal National Theatre, starring in a production of Hamlet as a replacement for Daniel Day-Lewis for the role.
He also won an Olivier Award for the most promising newcomer in a play called The Voysey Inheritance. He had a starring role in the film Cypher and started specializing in biopics, most notably playing Dean Martin in a biopic called Martin and Lewis. He last starred in a film called Official Secrets in 2019.
