Anya Battaglino and Madison Packer
Anya Battaglino and Madison Packer have a storybook romance. Battaglino and Packer met in 2015 on the Connecticut Whale of the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) ice. Lucky for them, the spark of love grew throughout their hockey games, and they started dating shortly after. Fast-forward to 2018, and Battaglino and Packer are engaged. The couple tied the knot in 2019 in Newport, Rhode Island.
Battaglino and Packer have left their mark on the NWHL on the ice, too. Packer, a defenseman, has played for the Whale, the Riveters, and the Minnesota Whitecaps. Battaglino, a forward, has played for the Whale, the Riveters, and the Boston Pride.
