Dave Rainford – Heart Disease

Dave Rainford became a professional quizzer after initially working at a North England pub cleaning gaming machines. Winning £250K ($353K) on Who Wants to be a Millionaire earned him more recognition. He reportedly spent £1K making premium-rate phone calls before earning a spot on the show. 

Jackson later joined Eggheads, the BBC game show, as a professional quizzer. His specialties were questions related to entertainment and sports. Bron David Omotayo Domingo, Rainford previously featured as a regular on Manchester’s Piccadilly Radio, answering quiz questions from the late-night show’s listeners. He died at the age of 51 from heart disease.
