Andy Hallett – Congestive Heart Failure
Angel aired between 2000 to 2004 as a spinoff of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That’s Andy Hallett’s best-known feature, and he also regularly displayed his singing talents on the show. He held several jobs on his climb to fame, including working as a runner and a property manager.
Working as a personal assistant to Joss Whedon’s wife, Kai Cole, helped him transition into acting. Hallett reportedly had a dental infection in 2005 that soon spread into his bloodstream and affected his heart. He was in and out of medical facilities after that, and in 2009 he lost the battle to congestive heart failure at the age of 33.
