John Shrapnel – Cancer
The Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre Company helped John Shrapnel earn notoriety in the industry. Some of his acting features include Notting Hill, 101 Dalmatians, and Gladiator. As a voiceover actor, he lent his vocals to Inspector Morse and Foyle’s War.
He passed away at the age of 77 at his Suffolk home on Valentine’s Day of 2020. Shrapnel had suffered from cancer. He’s survived by Francesca Bartley, his wife of 45 years, and their three children. He had a posthumous feature in the short film The Ghost Within.
