The Simpsons Movie (2007)

Would you believe that 2007’s The Simpsons Movie faced the banhammer following its release? While there have been some glaringly obvious and legitimate reasons for banning movies over the years, the decision to ban the popular animation was questionable at best.

Made controversial in Burma for its juxtaposition of the colors yellow and red, The Simpsons Movie was apparently banned for supporting the colors of the country’s rebel groups. While Burma has become notorious for its superstitious and questionable edicts, this one definitely takes the cake in our opinion.
