Soccer is one of the fastest-growing sports in America. Initially thought of as more of a female sport, the game gained initial traction in the ’70s when big names like Pele and George Best played there. This popularity faded until 1994, when the country hosted the World Cup and did pretty well there too.

Since then, the USMNT has grown from strength to strength, which has, in turn, led to the sport gaining fresh popularity. Of course, Americans are patriotic, so it doesn’t take much for them to support their country, as these beauties have done in the good old-fashioned American way.
