Not every professional soccer player can boast of being on Time’s list of 100 most influential people. Still, Alex Morgan made the cut in 2019. When you consider her numerous achievements and income, it’s easy to believe that assessment.

Morgan was the youngest player when she joined the U.S. national team in 2011. But when she finished the 2012 season with 28 goals and 21 assists, it became clear that her age didn’t matter as much as her skills. Morgan’s still going strong, though, and in 2022, she played with San Diego Wave F.C.
