Jeanie Drynan (71) – Australia

Jeanie Drynan is different from film stars discovering their passion for acting while pursuing another career. She knew who she wanted to be from a young age. So Drynan applied to study acting at the Edinburgh College of Speech and Drama in Scotland, UK, before returning to Australia for further training at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.

Drynan is recognized for her roles in the popular TV series “Class of 74” and the 1994 comedy-drama “Muriel’s Wedding.” In 1976, she appeared alongside Veronica Lang in the comedy film “Don’s Party.” And her performance in “Zelos” in 2017 was a warm and welcome reminder of her talent.
