Sheila Kennelly (85) – Brighton, Sussex
Sheila Kennelly devoted over 50 years of her life to acting. So her credits range from theatre performances to roles in film and television. Like Maggie Dence, Kennelly spent some time working for the Nimrod Theatre Company. But she also performed at venues like Old Tote Theatre and Neutral bay Music Hall.
Kennelly pivoted into television during the late ’60s with minor roles in comedy soap operas. She finally landed a lucky break when she was cast as Norma Whittaker in the Ten Network series “Number 96.” Kennelly has also made guest appearances on “Secret Valley,” “The Flying Doctors,” and “A Country Practice.”
