Tony Sattler (75) – Australia
Tony Sattler is an acclaimed Australian television writer and producer. He began his career in 1972, working as a creative director for “George Patterson Y&R” an advertising agency in Brisbane. While there, he met and formed a friendship with Gary Reilly. Soon they began collaborating on different projects, including the parody radio serial “Chuck Chunder and the Space Patrol.”
In 1975, Sattler co-founded RS Productions with Gary Reilly. Together, they wrote and produced the popular sitcom “Kingswood Country.” The show earned them two Logie Awards for Best Comedy in 1981 and 1982. And in 2000, Sattler produced and directed the documentary “Graham Kennedy: The King of Television.”
