Egypt
With Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula bordering both the Gaza Strip as well as Israel, it finds itself in trouble more often than not. Given the number of wars that it has been through in the past, Egypt holds quite an active army of about 438K personnel while an equal number sits in reserve.
It’s also one of the few Middle Eastern countries with a reconnaissance satellite and has already launched one as well. Egypt also owns the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which produces military goods. Reportedly worth almost $1.8 billion as of 2022, it was initially co-owned by Saudi Arabia and UAE.
