Japan
After World War II had concluded, the Japanese were made to sign a surrender agreement and were not allowed to have a military. However, they needed to have at least some sort of force against intrusion and terror, so they decided to call it the Japan Self-Defense Forces. Similar to many others, they do have all three ground, naval, and air units.
Never mind what it is called, Japan has the fifth strongest armed command in the world and spends a budget of about $54.1 billion. As of 2021, they even got the rights to attack, and fight terrorism, after the passing of the Anti-Terrorism Special Measures Law in 2001.
