The Netherlands

The military that protects the Kingdom of Netherlands is called Netherland Armed Forces. As of 2022, its budget was almost $13 billion, while it only employed about 41K active troops and almost 6k reserved. The military forces have four major branches: the navy, the air force, and ground troops.

Since the Dutch are seldom directly involved in an armed conflict with another state, they were certainly a part of NATO’s war on terror in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as a party in the Syrian and Libyan civil wars. With victory in all besides the one in Afghanistan where the Taliban stayed in charge.
