Trying Hormones To Help Bobbi Get Pregnant
Bobbi was treated with a medicine called Metrodin to stimulate ovulation to increase her chances of conception. It was eventually discovered that the medicine may have worked a little too well. In the young woman’s regularly scheduled check-up, doctors discovered that seven embryos had been implanted.
While fertility treatments increase the chances of having multiple births, having seven babies at once is almost unheard of. Despite being offered selective reduction (a way to significantly increase the odds of survival for the remaining children), Kenny and Bobbi declined. As devout Christians, the two decided to leave the outcome of the pregnancy in God’s hands.
