The Internet Broke As They Were Born

As soon as the incredible news of the pregnancy broke, the internet was ablaze. The McCaughey’s suddenly found themselves in the national spotlight, however, not all of the attention was positive. The couple’s decision to reject selective reduction was viewed as selfish since it reduced their babies’ chances of leading a healthy life.

Eventually, the day came. All seven children were delivered via C-section on November 19, 1996. And despite the fact that they were pretty tiny in size, the babies were born healthy enough. Considering also that the children were born nine weeks earlier than expected, it seemed like a miracle.
