Ron Johnson is a skilled businessman and accountant, but where he shines the most is in the United States Senate. This senior United States senator from Wisconsin is a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump. Johnson first ran for office in 2010.
He played a pivotal role in the 2019 issue of the United States’ aid to Ukraine. In May that year, he was a member of the US delegation to the inauguration of Ukraine’s new president. Johnson announced his candidacy for a third term in 2022, despite previously promising to retire after two terms in the Senate.
