The senate has a relationship with attorneys, and Ted Cruz is proof of that. He is the junior United States Senator for Texas, and he has held that position since 2013. Cruz’s election was historic as he became the first Hispanic-American to serve as a United States senator from Texas.

However, he did not plan to stop there. In 2016, he ran for the most powerful role of all; the post of the president of the United States. However, he placed second behind Donald Trump in the Republican primaries. In 2021, Cruz posted a viral tweet criticizing Australia’s Northern Territory’s vaccine mandates.
