Where Dinner Was Served
Here we have another image showing us where the Titanic’s passengers dined. This indoor dining saloon is decorated with windows of leaded glass and paneling made of white-painted wood. As you’ll notice, chairs and tables were arranged to accommodate parties of two to eight people.
But before hungry travelers entered the room when the bugle sounded, they were first treated to pre-dinner cocktails. This was reportedly done in favor of American passengers. Europeans on board didn’t partake in any of it since they believed that drinking alcohol ruined their palate before eating.
