Neil Peart – Brain Cancer

The rock band Rush, known for their hits Tom Sawyer and The Spirit of Radio, shocked their fans when rumors spread in 2015 that it had broken up. One of the members, Alex Lifeson, revealed in a July 2021 interview that this was true and that it wouldn’t be possible for a reunion because Neil Peart, the lyricist, and drummer of the Canadian group, was already gone.

Peart, 67, had been battling brain cancer away from the public eye for years, but sadly, his body gave up in January 2020. As per reports, he first experienced health problems in 2016 and was later diagnosed with glioblastoma.
