Some people believe that there really is such a thing as a Child Star Curse, and although it’s not the case for everyone, it may be true for some celebrities, including Brad Renfro, who died at only 25 in 2008. He started his career when he was 10 and quickly gained recognition after starring in films with big names.

He achieved his success swiftly, but behind the camera, things weren’t smooth-sailing. Renfro had a lot of brush-ins with the law, including being arrested for possessing illegal substances at 16. This habit eventually caught up with him one day after a party, and his girlfriend found him lifeless.
