The Remarkable Felicity Aston
Antarctica is unique in many ways, and one of those aspects is that it offers excellent opportunities for explorers to strut their stuff. Seeing as it’s only been traversed a few times since it was first discovered, adventurers can still tackle many options there.
One of the people who took on the continent is a British explorer and scientist Felicity Aston, who skied across the Antarctic! It took her a total of fifty-nine days, and she covered more than a thousand miles using nothing but pure grit and the power of her body. We think we can all agree that that is an outstanding example of human endurance!
