A Super Canyon
The Grand Canyon in the United States is a magnificent natural creation that never ceases to amaze. However, we think in Antarctica, there’s a canyon that would give the Grand Canyon a run for its money.
In an exploration done between 2009 and 2010, a massive canyon was discovered beneath the sprawling mass of ice, and it is 10 kilometers wide and at least 100 kilometers long. If it goes into the sea, then the chances are that it would even be longer, and it is a bit disappointing that we wouldn’t get an opportunity to tour it in person with ease.
