Princess Diana Would’ve Been Upset By The Oprah Interview
There’s no doubt that the Sussexes’ tell-all caused a storm in the royal sphere. But for all the support they got, they also received criticism. Palace insider Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s butler, said the late Princess of Wales would’ve been upset at the interview.
According to Burrell, she would’ve lamented the divide that it caused, especially between her two sons, because she always had respect for the royal family despite what she went through. He also noted the noticeable similarities between the 2021 interview and the explosive one Princess Diana gave to BBC in 1995.
