Bernie Finkelstein – Age 76

Many Canadian musical acts, Bruce Cockburn, owe a good deal of their success to Bernie Finkelstein. He’s a powerful executive and is known for managing the careers of singers Murray McLauchlan, Dan Hill, and more. The Toronto native is also known for being the past owner of True North Records, Canada’s oldest independent label.

While he no longer has ties with the company, he maintains a working relationship with Cockburn, who Finkelstein manages to this day. That said, he is still very much active in the music scene now that he’s 76 years old.
