They Are Multiplying Exponentially
Within pop culture, the Amish community is well represented. But despite being around since the 16th to 17th century, their population only stood at 5000 across America by the early 20th century. But that number has since exploded and currently sits at 344,670 people, as per the World Population Review.
Their growth is attributed to the principle that God wants larger families and was also triggered by a need for a larger workforce since the Amish started doing more commercial farming. The population is expected to double in the next two decades.
