Freddie Mercury, 45, 1946-1991
Farrokh Bulsara, whose stage name was Freddie Mercury, was one of the finest performers and singers of his time. The aura that he emanated pulled crowds to stadiums, and his band ‘Queen’ repeatedly hosted shows consistently at maximum capacity! The artist’s rare four-octave range and quirky mannerisms made him icon relevant in music to this day!
Unfortunately, he was taken from the world too soon at the age of 45 due to bronchial pneumonia and was surrounded by family during the end moments. Mercury was famous for his love for cats, and in one of the legendary performer’s last photos, it is evident how much he adored them!
