Ms. McMartin Played By Maggie Lawson
In season 12, Alan and Walden decide to get married so Walden can adopt a child. They call in the services of the social worker, Ms. McMartin, who stays for a whole 10 episodes and has a major impact on the two “married” guys. She has five cats and deep feelings for Walden.
McMartin is portrayed by the lovely Maggie Lawson, who enjoyed great success after the sitcom’s final season. She landed roles in Angel from Hell, The Ranch, and Lethal Weapon. She was recently allowed to star in the sitcom Outmatched, a nice family series that premiered in 2020.
