“Thank God” He Didn’t Fall

When we look at this image, we see an acrophobic nightmare that makes us shiver. But professional rock climber Alex Honnold saw something different: the opportunity to make a name for himself in the world of sports. The American free climber was able to get up there without using any safety rope, literally risking his life in the process.

Honnold’s climb was a major success and helped to promote the “Thank God Ledge,” a one-of-a-kind rock formation that can be found in the Yosemite National Park. The view from up there must be amazingly frightening!
