Afghan Hound – Comical But Aloof
The elegant Afghan hound was originally a breed called Tazi from ancient Afghanistan. They go for around $2,500 each. This basal breed is one of the oldest and was once treasured for its ability to exhibit independent thought, hunting without a human’s help. Afghan hounds are sighthounds that are lively, excitable puppies who mature into adults that prefer their space over hordes of attention.
Afghans have great vision and are quite active. They’re also capable of clearing high obstacles with ease and are therefore favored for lure coursing. One must keep in mind that they’ve got natural hunting instincts unsuited to being around small pets and can be challenging to train.
