Bedlington Terrier – Playful, Comical, And Energetic
Bedlington Terriers are named after Bedlington, a town in Northumberland where they were bred to hunt vermin. It’s a breed that loves being the focus of attention, often clowning around to get themselves noticed. Puppies average $1,500 each. Bedlingtons are moderately active and fair well with most activities.
While happy to be around kids, they don’t like being handled, so they’re best kept away from young ones. Bedlington terriers need socialization to behave around other dogs. They’re tough fighters and very stubborn too, so it’s best to train them from a young age. Fortunately, as smart dogs, this isn’t hard.
