Lyndon B. Johnson & Lady Bird Johnson – 1934
Born as Claudia Alta Taylor in Texas, the one and only wife of Lyndon B. Johnson, came to be known as Lady Bird Johnson. She was Second Lady of the country and was promoted to first after the assassination of JFK.
By the time the couple took up residence in the White House, they had been married for 29 years. Since Lady Bird was far from being in the spotlight when she tied the knot, there aren’t any official wedding photos available. However, the midi gown that she’s wearing in the picture above was reportedly captured before her nuptials but could’ve been the same one she wore to the ceremony.
