Passengers Keeping Fit
As it turns out, people then were just as concerned with their fitness as we are now. Take these passengers exercising in the Titanic’s shipboard gymnasium. Although taken over a century ago, you might be able to recognize some familiar equipment from rowing machines to stationary bikes.
According to The Atlantic, the facility was open for women from 9 a.m until noon. As for men, they can start from 2 p.m. until the evening. Meanwhile, the time between 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. was for children. Judging from this photo, though, the schedule might not have been followed strictly.
