First-Class Accommodations
First-class facilities for sleeping were even more impressive than those for exercising. Here, we have what was identified as a stateroom in one of the parlor suites in the Titanic’s B-Deck. And as you can see, its luxurious interiors are comparable to those found in top hotels today.
In total, there were 39 private suites on the ship. All had up to five rooms, including a bathroom, two bedrooms, and two wardrobe rooms. Staying in these suites could cost a passenger as much as $1,160 (£870) or a jaw-dropping $105,900 in today’s currency.
