The Grand Staircase

The plush interiors extended to public spaces, as evident in the grand staircase leading to the ship’s a la carte dining hall. You may already be familiar with the intricately designed stairway as it was heavily featured in the 1997 film.

You’ll spot the little angel carrying a torch behind Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in the scene where they meet on the staircase before heading to dinner. What you may not know, though, is that the one pictured above and in the movie is actually the staircase found in the Olympic. The one on the Titanic reportedly doesn’t have any known photographs.
