Coolest Sand Dunes

When you think of deserts, the first thing that comes into our minds is the hot temperature and dunes. But technically, a desert does not have to be covered in sand or hot. Have you ever wondered if there is there any sand in Antarctica?

It turns out that not only is it the coolest continent on the planet earth, but it is the windiest and driest one. Although more than ninety-nine percent of the area is covered with snow, some areas are snow-free. Mostly the winds in the area have helped form dunes.
