Giving Creepy Dolls

We’re pretty certain films like Child’s Play and Annabelle don’t scare Amish children. That’s because, from a young age, they are gifted faceless dolls like the ones featured in the picture. While they do give dolls with faces, this is the typical kind provided to Amish babies.

The reason for this is twofold. Firstly, it’s given due to the expressionless features used to deter pride and vanity. Another reason is to avoid discrimination which in turn goes with the principle that all people are equal in the eyes of God.
